Seriously thinking about not going

Cannot take another week of being embarrassed  :'(

Can completely understand that position. North game was atrocious. Plus I cannot stand Marvel. It should be at the MCG.

We don’t get Punt rd end at all MCG games  :banghead

We have to travel to Marvel for home games   :banghead :banghead :banghead

100,000 members can protest by not going and the AFL can get stuffed unless they give us what we deserve especially considering we made the game better to watch in the last 5 years now that other teams are copying our style.

We should be rewarded.

I actually like going to Marvel ..
Prefer it from a public transport perspective (my line stops at Southern Cross from Regional Victoria)
Definitely find the seats more comfortable
I prefer the food and drink options there and like the outside precinct better than that at the G
The roof being closed if required is fantastic

I understand that it's not our home ground, but don't get the absolute hatred of the place from a viewing/supporter comfort perspective

We need a big crowd in, it's as simple as that.
Lower the crowd the more it advantages Freo

Lobb out for Freo?

------------------------------

Fremantle forward Rory Lobb appears set to miss the Dockers’ top-four shaping clash against Richmond, with the spearhead a noticeable absentee at training in Melbourne on Thursday.

Lobb injured his shoulder in their loss to Sydney at the weekend, but played out the match, with coach Justin Longmuir saying he was hopeful the forward would be available as late as Tuesday.

The Dockers’ leading goalkicker was not on the track at North Port Oval, the home of VFL side Port Melbourne, as the players went through their usual captain’s run.

Wingman Liam Henry and midfielder Mitch Crowden have travelled with the team, while vice-captain and star defender Alex Pearce looks set to return after missing the past two games with a calf injury.

Pearce’s return could mean swingman Griffin Logue returns to the forward line, kicking two goals in their win over Brisbane earlier this year as well as playing as a defensive forward.

Logue is set not to be needed in defence, with the Tigers to have a smaller forward line in the absence of hamstrung key forward Tom Lynch.

Richmond v Fremantle Preview

Nic Negrepontis
SEN
21 July 2022

Fremantle and Richmond will meet on Friday night in what looms as a contest with huge ladder implications either way.

The Tigers must correct their course after dropping a 40-point lead to Gold Coast and losing to North Melbourne in successive weeks, while the Dockers also have something to prove after going down to Sydney at home.

The Tiges could be in danger of missing finals altogether if they don’t find a few wins, but this will be far from straightforward against a strong Freo side.

Fremantle broke a run of four straight losses to the Tigers in 2021 in a low-scoring thriller at Optus Stadium.

They face off at Marvel Stadium, a venue they haven’t played together at since 2010. The Dockers recently took down St Kilda at Docklands, showing they play the ground well.

Will Richmond’s inaccuracy in front of goal rear up again? Have teams begun to work out Fremantle’s style in recent weeks?

These will all be questions asked in a contest between two teams that desperately need the four points.

Tip: Richmond by 7 points.

Collingwood was able to negotiate a deal with the MCG that is exclusive to all other co-tenants  :rollin
