Gibcus should be rested for a week or two. Hes a kid, done some big jobs, give him a rest. The other bloke Ill drive him amd castagna to Norf and save the club the taxi fare.

Dimma pretty much saying he's still backing the players that have delivered for him in the past. Problem is a number of them aren't delivering now and definitely not in the past two weeks.

We got smashed in the guts yet no change to our midfield numbers or make-up?  :-\

Balta and Baker aren't permanent forwards. Balta aside from a cameo goal hasn't worked all year. He's primarily a key defender. Baker should played in the middle or down back. The more Bakes has the ball the better. He hardly touches it as a permanent forward.

Not sure where the forward line pressure is coming from either without Maurice? Having more inside 50s means nothing if we allow teams to rebound out of our F50 and back through the corridor under no pressure. We better reverse our form in front of the big sticks and kick very accurately or this will be another gift to the opposition.

The positive is Sonsie keeps his spot and there will be no Aarts or Castagna.

What's with the emergencies? Dow gets 13 possessions and gets named. Another bloke gets written up as having played his best game in a month and where is he?

But we don't play favourites  :scream

:snidegrin

Seriously though, if we've given up on the season then play the cubs in the last 5 rounds. Give them some AFL experience leading into next preseason.

The thing is this team selection says Dimma in his mind isn't tanking and that he's backing once again and just hoping for a response and ultimately one last dance from all the blokes who delivered for him between 2017-2020.

After the worst loss we’ve had in years these are the changes ? Bring in a serial offender in soldo? He is literally the ruck version of Castagna. So over it

Ross still not fit must be. Would have dropped a few more let down 2 weeks in a row .Ryan should have come in Soldo has no form.

Denial. Basically done a Brad Scott and said "we won that game just not on the scoreboard."

Debacle. Agree with points below about Soldo, Balta and Baker.

We will lose by 5 goals at best.
