Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris provides a summary of how the Tigers’ players performed in Saturday afternoon's thrilling three-point win over Frankston at the Swinburne Centre.

Jake Aarts (35 disposals, five tackles, six clearances, five inside-50s)

"Outstanding game once again, he led us for contested possessions and found himself in every contest throughout the day. He is in really good form and has led our team the way we know he can."

Riley Collier-Dawkins (29 disposals, five inside-50s, four clearances, three marks)

"He's in a really good patch of form. He's been really solid in-and-around contents and bursting from stoppage the way we know he can. He continues to find the ball and used it well on the weekend."

Hugo Ralphsmith (27 disposals, six inside-50s, three tackles, one goal)

"Was a standout player on the ground. His foot skills were really good and I thought his starting points from a defensive point of view were fairly strong. He got involved in attack right throughout the day, often on multiple occasions within the one chain. He was also really solid in the contest."

Sam Banks (26 disposals, nine marks, four inside-50s, four rebound-50s)

"He's tracking sensationally, he's had a really strong first year at the Club. His work-rate was super high, he used the ball really well. He's a very exciting player for us, and will be a very good player for years to come."

Rhyan Mansell (21 disposals, nine marks, five tackles, five rebound-50s)

"I thought it was equal to his best game for the season. He set the tone physically and was uncompromising. He came forward to impact really strongly and I thought he had a really solid impact on the game."

Tom Brown (19 disposals, four marks, four inside-50s, two clearances)

"Continues to excite those who watch him play at this level. His talent is undeniable, he is super clean with the footy and makes great decisions with ball-in-hand, and I thought his contest work on the weekend was much-improved. A great step forward in the right direction."

Judson Clarke (19 disposals, five marks, two inside-50s, three goals)

"He was wonderful on the weekend. His run-and-carry really stood out but also his confidence in his own ability and he finished really well on the day. The play of the day was his clutch goal in the dying seconds of the game, which was really pleasing to see from a young player who wanted to step up and take that moment."

Thomson Dow (17 disposals, seven inside-50s, four clearances, three marks)

"He's been in really good form lately. He was probably slightly down on that high standard that he's set for himself in the second half for the season, but he was a valuable contributor still."

Ivan Soldo (13 disposals, 37 hit-outs, eight clearances, three inside-50s, one goal)

"I thought Ivan was solid without standing out. He definitely got the better of the ruck dual as you would expect... He stepped in and was a presence for us around the football."

Sydney Stack (13 disposals, eight tackles, five marks, five inside-50s)

"The really pleasing aspect of Sydney's game was his tackle pressure. He had four in the first quarter and finished with eight, I thought he was desperate and he played great team footy. He always looks a step above the level, it's just a matter of seeing it consistently."

Jacob Bauer (12 disposals, 10 marks, three tackles, two goals)

"Had a sensational day, with the exception of his finishing in front of goals, which is usually a strength of his. But, the one thing that does stand out is he's getting to great spots, he's getting opportunities, and he fights tooth-and-nail to create a contest forward of centre for us. To come in and do what he's done in the second half of the season has been outstanding, and I'm certain there are big things to come in Jacob's career."

Samson Ryan (11 disposals, five marks, two clearances)

"Didn't have a huge impact on the game and he missed out on a few free kicks in front of goals, but he's had an outstanding season and has made huge gains in his game. His aerial work has improved out of sight and I think he's going to flourish into a really good ruck/forward option for us moving forward."

Bigoa Nyuon (11 disposals, four marks, four rebound-50s)

"His best was really good on the weekend, he's been pretty solid in behind the footy for most of the season and we all know what he can do athletically."

Will Martyn (eight disposals, two marks, two rebound-50s)

"On paper, his game doesn't look outstanding, but he actually had a reasonable game defensively for us. It's been a focus for Will to improve his defensive and I thought he was quite solid on the weekend, but probably didn't have the offensive impact we're used to seeing from him."

Mate Colina (four disposals, three clearances)

"Had a much-improved game. He had a great opportunity to play in the ruck when the game was on the line late in the game, and I think that was something that will be really good for his development. He competes really well and gave us a number of great looks from stoppage and I think he's a project player that we're certainly very excited about."
