this boy showed many how to get the job done.

along with TT seth had the most tackles with 4. Seth had more tackles than grimes, young, ross, macca and baker. floss so basically our whole backline :banghead

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Was talking to a bloke from Burnie at the pub yesterday. Let’s just say, Seth did not have an easy private school pathway into footy. Had to work super hard. Sounds like a great kid.

Campbell’s fine first-up display

By Richmond Media

Talented, young forward Seth Campbell made an impressive debut for Richmond in last Saturday’s opening round match against Gold Coast with two top-class goals. Richmond Media caught up with him post-game for an appraisal of his debut appearance.  Here is what he had to say . . .

His first goal in AFL football, from a clever snap

“I just played with instinct and the ball ended up in my lap. I was in a good position and just snapped it over the shoulder . . . Seeing it going through, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know how to celebrate . . . The boys just got around me and it was unbelievable.”

Strong support from Tiger teammates

“They supported me. Every time I got the ball or with my rotations or playing my structure, the boys helped me with everything like that, and they made it easier for me.”

His second goal, from a set shot

“That was awesome. That was us on the comeback and we had the momentum and it just felt awesome with the Tiger Army getting behind us.”

Easing the nerves

“It was after I kicked that first goal, everything just dropped, and I was just playing footy like I’ve been doing.

Thriving on the quick tempo

“It was very fast. I didn’t really realise how much I was running because the adrenalin was just going the whole game. But it was awesome . . . amazing. I loved every minute of it.”

Second game blues...looked a bit overawed on the big stage..80k at the MCG under lights v Carlton is quite a different kettle of fish to a lazy Saturday arvo at Metricon..... :shh

Disagree. Kicked a huge goal in the last when Mansell, Lynch, Bolton miss goals they should kick. May not have one every contest but he has a crack this kid. Loved his spoil that resulted in Balta goal in the 2nd.
Go Tigers!

Could be the cleanest player on the list. His hands are so sticky and I am yet to see him double grab. Class.

Seems like Seth, mrj, Cumberland, coulthard are all competing for the same spot. Would expect different combinations of the 4 throughout the year. Campbell has impressed me though

Looks to have great balance and footy nous and most importantly he doesn't panic.

Skills aren't the worst in the team but many of our more experienced players could learn a thing or two watching his second and third efforts. I really like his pressure on the ball carrier and he isn't scared to take the game on and show his ability.  :thumbsup
The club that keeps giving.

Beat me to it was looking for this thread when it popped up.
Reckon we have found one with him and i think he should be groomed to also be a part of midfield rotations.
