You would have to think Tarrant and Colina would be done

Injury Report: Round 11, 2023

Richmond defender Nick Vlastuin will be a test to play in Round 11 after suffering a corked leg in last Saturday's Dreamtime at the 'G game.

The 29-year-old will need to get through training this week in order to be available for selection for Sunday's clash with Port Adelaide at the MCG.

"Nick received a heavy knock to his leg early in the game on Saturday night," Physical Performance Manager Luke Meehan said.

"He played out the game despite being hampered. The longer week between games helps but we will monitor him as the week progresses."

Richmond Injury List:

Test

Nick Vlastuin, cork leg

Unavailable

Maurice Rioli, hamstring (short-term)

Jacob Hopper, soleus (medium-term)

Ivan Soldo, foot (medium-term)

Seth Campbell, adductor (medium-term)

Josh Gibcus, hamstring (medium-term)

Kaleb Smith, ankle (long-term)

Tom Lynch, foot (long-term)

Robbie Tarrant, hip (indefinite)

Mate Colina, back (indefinite)

While I not a fan of Meehan, Lynch has a broken bone in his foot

Absolutely nothing to do with S&C

Gibcus yes, along with everyone else with soft tissue

not to mention the skill level if he was behind training without footy's  :banghead

:yep Dont mention training without the footys or you will get eaten alive.

Someone a while back mentioned Burge was doing the training without footys' in "December" . Funny thing with that is Burg was at the hawks, so it appears he was at 2 places at the same time :shh :shh

Lynch has been long term since he broke his foot. It has not changed. Only thing that has changed is 8-13 weeks has dropped back to 6-11.

A broken foot caused by copping a nasty knock by an opposition player in the first few minutes of the Bulldogs game as TFL said nothing to do with S&C

Whack the S&C for the things they can control but they certainly don't deserve any whacks for broken bones

Hopper a 4-6 week calf that he did a week ago. What calf takes 7 weeks to heal?

How long has he been 6 to 11 weeks now lol ? Wasn't he supposed to see the doctor this week so he can hit the track no update at all.Lynch wasn't well all preseason and rd 1 you could see it with his foot issue and rushed back let's not blanket the incompetence of this department.

Depends on the grading of the strain/tear

It isn't a standard call as it keeps getting referred to as his soles not his calf

I am off to physio tonight for my back so as we always do will be talking about this one. It will be our injury of the week for discussion  ;D

He's given me interesting insight on the Lynch injury, so expecting the same here :thumbsup
