Meanwhile, Richmond has also confirmed that its retail store at Punt Road, the Tiger Den, will return to a situation of being managed by the Club.

CUB

As per the RFC annual report from 2005 - the tiger's den is currently run by Concept Sports - they pay the CLub a guaranteed fee for Merchandise sales the contract expires at the end of the this season.  Check out any receipt you get from the Tiger's Den and it will say Concept Sports.

If we are smart, we will turn the den into a sports superstore not only carrying Our stuff, but soccer kits supplied by Adidas and Reebok. International kits like Greece and Italy and England and Australia for example, the best known English Premier League Clubs etc, some of the top Italian and Greek clubs. Further we should also sell some Rugby tops especially when Melbourne stages Rugby Internationals, Videos, Scarfs, Flags etc etc...Richmond should do it properly. The market does not end with Richmond supporters. It begins with Richmond supporters and ends with anyone who has an interest in these other sports.

Thanks WP, shows how much attention I pay to these things.

Good idea rampaging, the Den gets a lot of supporters through on match days and not just tigers, I actually saw skunks the other week. Usually lots opf kids as well, with things like the world cup of soccer just recently. I am sure they would of sold stuff like that when it was on.

Just poped over to the tiger den as saw some of the hummel stuff going out extra cheap.

Was speaking to the girl in the shop and got a description of the new jumper designs, They are along the lines of the white and black one's of this year (no silver) with a bigger tiger head in colour and the claw marks re the 1998 - 2003 jumper. Sounds pretty good. Will be out around november.

The polo's etc should be out around start of october and are basically the same as north but in yellow and black (captain obvious).

Much better than this years stock so looks like some Xmas shopping on the cards in a few months time :thumbsup

Does that mean the silver top taxi sponsorship is over?

I like the idea of adding the claws back.

Just a note on Reebok they screen print the logos on thier clothes like hummel did.

I know I was critical of hummel doing it because I reckon it looks cheap (plastic like)- much prefer the embroided look myself. And just another point I've been told that it actually costs more to print the logos than to embroid  :-\

It seems to be a European thing

And on the mocked up top MT's done - hmmm maybe just a touch too much yellow ;D

Does that mean the silver top taxi sponsorship is over?

Probably up for renewal - October is drawing close  :thumbsup

The reebok logo is now up on the mainpage of the RFC website but they still have Hummel on the sponsors page  ???. The RFC doesn't yet appear on the Reebok website either as yet.

As WP mentioned Joel is wearing the new reebok polo:

Can they get Tiger logo any bigger - and just by looking at the photo - the logas are all screen printed  :chuck  :rollin

Actually surprised to see them wearing reebok today (31/10/06) thought they didn't come on board officially until 1/11/06 ;D

Reebok is now up on the sponsors page:

That's good but.....

It's a pity that the RFc haven't made a huge deal about Reebok like Port Adelaide has.... :-\

Even got a few picks of the merchandise on the Power web-site

That clash jumper is a shocker  :chuck

it was revealed that Reebok’s exclusive Play Dry™ technology will be incorporated into the on-field kits for 2007. The fit of the guernseys – both home and clash – will change to be closer to the body, and the hemline will be altered to allow for the specifics of the AFL athlete.

Will the Tiges also have a similar close-fitting guernsey?
