Amazing how many modern players are allergic to just picking up the ball and going for the obvious option of the sticks  :P.
Exhibit A just then your honour!

Miller doesn't go for goal and passes it across to Banks.
Banks then gives it off 40 out instead of taking the shot.

Half time

Richmond     3.4     5.7-37
Essendon     5.0     7.4-46

Goals: Cumberland 2, Nyuon, Johnson, White.

OMG, that was painful to watch!  :help

Some of the dumbest and hackiest footy you will ever see. Almost comical how bad it was.

Faimalo fumbles but is able to get the kick to Cumberland in the pocket 15m out. Goes across to the other of the goal to Banks 30 out. Misses.

38 - 52

Again why didn't Cumberland go for goal?  :huh

Not watching but is it coaching or execution?

5 intercepts in a row just outside 50 and we still couldn't find a target inside 50  ::).

Sums up this game  :banghead.

3/4 time

Richmond     3.4     5.7     7.9-51
Essendon     5.0     7.4    10.8-68

Goals: Cumberland 2, Bradtke, Nyuon, Johnson, Olden, White.

Just more of the same butchering of the ball especially going inside 50. A mixture of poor footskills, poor decision making and lazy forwards who won't lead up at the ball-carrier and create space.

Just watched the third quarter. I reckon Sonsie was on about 20% efficiency by foot.  :help

Poor decision making too kicking to an outnumber several times.  :help
