Someone has too much time on their hands lol. The LEGO version of Timmy Cahill's wonder strike!

https://vine.co/v/MTAbg2HULbr

That was Magic OE. great find.  :thumbsup

At least the FIFA Fascists can't take it off the air as a violation of their broadcast rights like they have done for nearly every youtube video of Tim Cahill's Goal.  :scream

Big games tonight

No VP for the Dutch. I think those fantasy island chilenos will do a number on them and top the table. Hope not don't care for any Sth American team

Can't believe they were paying 6/1 against the spaniards and I didn't take it

Aside from the the first 10-15 mins of the first half when we moved the ball quickly and about the same in parts in the 2nd half, we were outclassed and given a lesson in skill, precision passing and controlling the game. We looked tired and jaded after the initial burst and kept turning the ball over in dangerous spots. We also really missed Timmy up forward. We never really troubled the Spanish keeper. This morning's game was more like what we expected going into the tournament. Too inexperienced overall, lacking class across the park and defensively very suspect.

As for that pitch :facepalm.

Yeah Ryan's been terrible.

Missing Cahill and bresc was one too many class acts missing. You could resonably argue that even with a full strength golden generation we arent in the ballpark. Spain made 7 changes which is what i feared, hungry fringe players ready to make a statement and lets be reasonable spains fringe players are still world class and better technically than our best.

Ange went in with a 4-3-3 as opposed to a 4-2-3-1 and the lack of defensive midfield cover shielding our shaky defebce showed. Our defensive structure needs a lot of work which was expected.

I actually think that since Viduka retired we are shooting ourselves in the foot playing 1 striker - he was a class act the way he was able to hold the ball up and bring our 3 attacking mids into play, we dont have a player anywhere near that skillset now - horses for courses

We should go with a 3-5-2 and play 2 strikers. Dependng on the opposition that can be an attacking or defensive formation, and give us beef where we need it at this point in time, defensively and attacking line

Won best keeper or young keeper in Belgium which is a good team and was a beast at Gosford. I didn't watch the game it i thought he didn't do a lot wrong in the first two games. The team as a whole defender poor. Not much Ryan could do.

That said Mitch langerak should be the #1

Much needed reality check. Hopefully will put an end to all that laughable self-congratulation that took place in the wake of the first two matches. Was positively Richmond-like.

Ange is building a good side for the future.
Given the 6-0 drubbings we were copping from Brazil and France back in September he did well to mould a new team with new players since then and leave Brazil with some sort of credibility for him and Aussie soccer.

I still think the Asian Cup next year is another stepping stone with qualification and getting through our group in 2018 is the primary focus. :thumbsup

Club level success doesn't amount to country level success

He was poor esp the last 2 games

Italy out abs deservedly so, they played terrible in fact it was the worst game of the WC so far by a fair margin

Suarez is the dirtiest dog to ever play the game. Hope they bury the idiot at club level for his latest attack

He shouldn't play again at this WC
