We'll be trading 6 & 11 to Norf for pick 2 on the night..... :shh

Blues set the standard for pick 3 ,12 and 14 why would we do 6 and 11 way overs in a even draft

Dreaming if you think it won't require at least 6....what the scum & coolers did means  stuff all...it's where Norf think the players they want will last to and reports are they want Tauru who'll likely go top 10...coolers were clearly confident their targets will be still be on the board at 12 &14....  :shh

Twomey says it's line ball at No.1 between Lalor and O'Sullivan with Langford and Jagga Smith in the next group.

Easy for me

1 Lalor/FOS
6 Smillie
10 Armstrong/Shanahan
11 Best mid available
18 Shanahan/Faull

The other 3 just take best available and make sure we get a tall/ruck too.

Don't mind this.

Armstrong at 10 is very important I believe. That can set us up to take next best mid at 11 and then see if Shanahan is there at 18 if not Faull or Whitlock.

I do love the idea of Armstrong and Shanahan at 10 and 11. But if an elite mid is on table at 11 like Reid or Travaglia (def/mid) then I like the idea of snapping them up and get Shanahan or Faull later.

I wonder if the Whitlocks want to be drafted together or would prefer not to be.

The Waugh brothers interestingly grew weary of constantly being together and compared to one another etc. Sometimes brothers prefer to go their own way.

But then some may relish the idea of playing together.

We could do this easily with P 23-24 if they're suitable acquisitions.

I think Jack being a forward is much better player and more value. A bit like Harry McKay and his brother Matt is a bit like Ben McKay in comparison.

Not same players, but the difference between the brothers is similar. Matt has been a way behind Jack however the combine Matt really broke through.

Surely we do a Mock Draft?

Is there a thread for Round 1 Team 2025?

Would be interesting to see the line-up or Your Best Starting 22 (23) after National Draft.

Heard the suns will again only be interested in points next year with all their academy players, unfortunately I think they just picked a half back flanker this trade period….

Granger-Barass just got delisted by the hawks. Was pick 6 in the draft only 4 years ago.

Anyone ever see him play?

Might be worth a punt considering our key forward stocks, although there must be a pretty significant reason for the hawks to be cutting him given they don’t really have a kpf themselves other than Mitchell Lewis who has an injury record to match Lynchys.

Surely up there with Preuss going to Melbourne lol

Exactly where does he think he’ll slot in with McKay, Curnow & TDK?
