This Beaconsfield thing does my head in.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Why?

Club just meeting it's obligations.  ;D

What about it’s obligations to it’s members? How many live out there? Is it our recruiting zone?

I actually agree with you but Club see it as some sort of growth corridor, so until they get sick of doing it or their agreement with the council out there lapses they will keep going out there

Have to say I still chuckle at Club turfing their agreement with Craigieburn out because it was supposedly too far for coaches and players to travel to but they love travelling out to Beaconsfield.

Intimacy with fans should be focussed on members who love going to the G.
Punt Rd is right next door.

I am a 35 year member that grew up in their recruiting zone.
I couldn’t go as it was too far away.

That’s who I thought. Has beefed up a little.

apologies- thought you were referring to the player in the same picture as Nank.
