What did Naismith do wrong to get the arse. He more than held his own against one of hardest tasks in the game when it comes to ruckmen.

We were far too top heavy last week and slow

We played Naismith, Ryan, Balta and Koschitzke. Granted

Whether you agree or not as soon it was clear Nank was available Naismith was in trouble

Balta as a chop out in the ruck worked, was one of the reasons for the turn around in the 3rd

Disappointed for Naismith but in no way surprised

Was OK, but we miss Nank's presence around the contest, he's so much better than either Ryan or Naismith when the ball hits the ground. Nank averages more than 4.5 clearances off his own bat, 4+ very aggressive tackles and takes marks around the ground. Naismith had 1 mark (uncontested) last week - no real aerial presence.  Plus, Nank is the club captain, it's silly to think he's going to be second string to someone else in Round 1.

Naismith was useless.

Nank needs to play

Naismith is obviously just the back up ruck and it’s easy to justify as he probably costs nothing.

Balta to pinch hit is perfect to me

Absolutely.

Ryan I understand but Naismith should play too. Nank is under done.

Nank is cooked - Witts would've smashed him like he has the the last three times they've played.... :shh

Not one senior player dropped after that pathetic effort not happy at all.

Senior players should have been dropped before Banks. We need to put games into the younger players to see if they can make it rather than taking the soft option of selecting players who are quite frankly well past their prime. Our failure to plan for the future is deeply concerning. I hope Mansell lives up to the hype about him over the break.
