Yze's post-match presser:

Watch here: https://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/1531000/round-5-yze-post-match

----------------------------

* One patch that cost us the game which was the 2nd qtr. Their midfield got on top in the contested possessions. 4-5 goals conceded from stoppages. Consistency [lack of] across the 4 quarters a problem when you have a young midfield.

* 3rd quarter we looked tired. 4 inside 50s for a quarter is not us. Could be the cumulative effect of the past 5 weeks/Second week of travel. Get the bye now to rest us not only physically but mentally.

* Proud with the way we finished in the last quarter. Leaders worked towards small victories like winning the quarter.

* Younger players getting opportunity while we face adversity [via injuries].

* Dusty had a role up forward against their taller defenders as we lack height up forward.

* We could have thrown up extra numbers at the stoppage but the experience McAuliffe, Dow, etc got and we wanted to see how they perform and try to arrest momentum.

15 min period in 2nd qtr, that’s not us/He’s getting a bit predictable. Has been given a massive pooh sandwich by Dimma and co
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

He talks a lot of poo. Why doesn't any reporter ask about our fitness and conditioning, and ability to stick a tackle. You know the "Richmond way"  :lol

Embarrassing.

No one could have foreseen such a diabolical injury list in his first 6 weeks.

Yze has no choice but to put a “ positive spin “ on our predicament .

I think supporters should hold fire , results may get worse before they get better.

He is right , younger players are getting an opportunity and that is exciting.

That's not his job to talk about fitness and conditioning that is the job of Tim Livingstone head of football. Some here need a reality check there's going to be alot more pain before gain I think the first 5 games gave false hope we're we a at and now with injuries the dam has burst.

He did say we looked tired.

So he js conceding that we aren't the fittest team by any stretch.

So the issues are stark.

We lack fitness, defensive structure, cohesive ball movement, tackling ability, maintaining consistent pressure and a forward half system.

On top of that we don't most of our senior players have injuries and we have no depth.

Pretty much every department is failing.
The club that keeps giving.

I actually think he’s done an amazing job on the motivation side of things

With limited cattle, the endeavour/effort has been fantastic

Shown plenty of heart as a team

A good coach for a poo list? Is that what you are trying to say?

Yeah can't say "effort",  "endeavour" & 'heart" are the words I immediately associate with last Sunday's performance... :shh
