Dropping Blight seems a mistake, better player than Ryan

Doubt we brought in Ryan to play in the back line.... :shh

The Richmond way. Bring in mostly underperformers for underperformers. Dont back in the younger blokes don't reward great vfl form.
Seriously are we tanking. Wake up we don't need to tank we need to play and find out what kids are worth keeping asap.

This new coach well start asking questions if he is having a say in these things. because a blind man can see what we are  getting wrong all the time.

Can we have a 2016 type review which includes looking at the new coach please.

Highly unlikely we bought him in to play ruck either or kpf for that matter. Oh but wait...

He only needs about 6 touches to show improvement. Fmd one contested mark would double what we get in a game.

How the stuff is he even being considered. What the stuff has he even done to be considered this time around.

Ive said it before atm give me Hamspud or McBean.

They obviously see something well its high time he rewarded that confidence.

A spud imo just an okay ruck and just an okay fwd not great at either.

Blight dropped  :huh...Trezise is a plodder & Green's a dud... :shh

Don’t disagree but may as well play Trezise and Green to make the case compelling
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Why is it we can't play three talls up forward.

If Bauer is fit i would have liked them to throw him forward as a replacement for Cumberland.
If they want to Play Ryan then play him from the bench with Nankervis. For now keep Balta forward and keep Blight in the team.

Very odd that they pick an underperformer in Ryan who has not played for two weeks. Its not as if we are rushing in Lynch or someone.

At worst keep Balta forward play kossie and Ryan  the obvious problem with that is Ryan makes that forward half very slow and he is a statue when the ball is on the ground. So Blight cops it having not done a lot wrong and  Balta goes back  to accomodate playing Ryan forward.

Find a way to play both Blight and Ryan and Bauer as well.

Good to see good form rewarded with Trezise im shocked they cant give Smith a few games and reward consistent good form.

Would it be dumb to give Nankervis a rest and play Ryan as the ruckman. Why not.

How about he try some players in different roles which would allow kids to play in their right roles and actually drop a few underperformers.

Why not Rioli to a wing its worth trying. If not him why not  see how Tom Brown would go on a wing. Free the kid up a bit, out with McIntosh he aint the future thats for sure.

I know McAuliffe has struggled a bit and probably deserved to be dropped. i would have liked them to give him one more week though.
If Sonsie plays it is time to play him midfield and see what he can produce.

This week something like this

Vlastuin - Miller - Broad. Broad has been poor lately he is another who could be dropped based on poor form.
Rioli - Blight - Trezise.  Kept Rioli back for the extra experience with Blight and Trezise there.

Brown - Taranto - Ralphsmith.  Browny gets freed up a bit and gets to use his footskills in say a short type role.
Ryan - Hopper - Sonsie. Its a slow midfield. It will be slow regardless of who we play there. Look at the options. Sonsie freed up.

Bauer - Balta - Mansell. Bauer a quicker mobile tall rather than a kp instead of NC. Gives us flexability and an ability to keep structure if Balta is needed back.
Bolton - Kossie - ####. Pick a small forward its slim pickings atm.

McAuliffe - Baker - Prestia - Smith.

Banks.
