And if we get it out of the centre and get it into the forward line who’s going to hit the scoreboard , I have no confidence and I’m thinking even our senior players are hoping for the season to end .

By the way, Prestia was a club reject!!!!
Nank was !!!!! Why!!! SYDNEY knew
Bagging 3-time premiership greats who are now in their 30s and can't do what they once did in their prime 4-7 years ago  ::)

It's round 23 and the bottom side with nothing to play for is playing the most inform team in the comp. Remember we lost the last game of 2016 by around 113 pts and that was with a list that would win a flag 12 months later. Players are human. Today was going to be a minimum 10 goal loss if the Hawks turned up to play which they did until the last 10 mins. Welcome to reality!

If you hate it now, then you're going to hate it even more over the next 5 years when we'll be a regular bottom 4 side like the Hawks were from 2019-2023. It's not going to turn until we hit multiple drafts and grab and develop multiple mostly A-grade talent as we did between 2006-2009 - Jack, Sheds, Cotch, Rance, Dusty, Grimes, Astbury. Rebuilds are long and painful even when you get it mostly right.

The only positive in this game so far is that it's been all our younger brigade showing something.
When it should have been our leaders and experienced group.
Bauer and HRS have lead the way and the young group have followed.
But the game was over at QTR time.

At least there was some effort that qtr

And it would appear when I get home tonight I'm going to busy. Fair bit of editing will be happening  :banghead :banghead

I don’t recall ever seeing such poor defensive pressure. This carralling business is just crazy, no one wants to tackle just let them execute a kick with no pressure. It’s bizarre.

It's the exact opposite of a premiership winning football philosophy.

What do we call this game style?

Not really much editing needed

Just pointing out the repetitive nonsense being posted

Wouldn’t think that doing that via counting would need editing ???

When a teammate is streaming towards F50 you lead up at the ballcarrier; not sit and allow your opponent to win front position and rebound with ease :facepalm.

Getting destroyed all over the park.

Mercy rule time already  :help.

The commentators had a go at Ralphsmith for that, when it was Balta's fault
Balta doubled down on his mistake by not even trying to spoil it once he knew he was out of position.

We are the worst tackling team by a mile.

How on earth have we forgotten what made us a powerhouse.

Why haven't we employed a tackling coach to improve this?

Are we going to do this?

You'd think we should. Or are we terrified of the soft cap monster?

I have question marks on Tresise not because of the stupid mistakes or losing one on one but his apparent lack of mongrel to win the next context.

You can be ok footy player but what makes you a quality isn't quitting because you lose or the ball isn't delivered to you correctly.

That F50 entry where Mansell got the quick bouncing kick in and everyone ran past the contest wanting the cheapy out the back and left the defensive side wide open is what does my head in with the way we play.

ps. that was a mark to Miller not paid  ::)
