AFLW Injury Report: Week 3Get the latest injury update from AFLW High Performance Manager Elizas Morrison ahead of Saturday's clash with Sydney at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.
Eilish Sheerin, quad"We're hoping Eilish should be available this weekend. She's progressed great, if anything, we've been having to pull her back, which is just the character that she is. So, she's back to full training. We'll test her throughout this week, but hopefully she'll be available for the game (against Sydney)."
Ally Dallaway, hip corky"Ally's still pretty sore. As you can imagine, she was in a lot of pain during the game, so we'll just give her a couple of days and see how it settles. But, we're hoping that with a couple of days rest it'll clear up nicely and she should be available to play."
Tamara Luke"We're really happy with where Tamara's at. We spoke to the coaches when she first came on board, and we knew that it would (take) a few weeks just to rebuild her, we don't want to put her out there too early... With the condensed season, that's the real aim, to have her available the whole (season) to help Poppy Kelly (in the ruck). She's available with with some minutes, she has been the last couple of weeks, but it's just when we best use her for the season."
Imogen Brown, ankle"Imogen had a rolled ankle late last week, she just missed out on playing in the scrimmage. That morning, she just presented with some soreness. So, we're just going to monitor it this week and investigate a little bit further. But, we're hoping that she should bounce back pretty quickly."
Tessa Lavey and Sarah Hosking's returns"So happy with where they're at, obviously some really great success stories, and I think credit to the medical team in particular, they've done a huge amount of work (for both players' returns)... They've both pulled up really well, which is good."
Shelby Knoll, knee"Shelby's been doing great. She's done a hell of a lot of her work in the background, working really closely with Caleb, our rehab coach, and then also with the physios as well. She's back in a couple of drills and warm ups and those sorts of things with the group. So, we're hoping to get her back into more and more footy over the next couple of months, which I think is going to be great for her."
Katelyn Cox (knee) and Montana McKinnon (knee)"It's obviously a little bit earlier in their ACL journey for those two (compared to Knoll). A little bit more day by day for them. So, we're just trying to increase some of their movement, get them in the pool, get them moving around a little bit more... Back in around the club, back in around the girls and working really closely with our medical team. So, tracking well."
Richmond will name its Week 3 line-up on Thursday at 6.20pm.
