It looks like these conditions are made for Dempsey.

Poor Stella Reid, she not quick at the best of times, in perfect conditions. In these conditions she's like a tractor doing a lap at Bathurst against a V8

Sheerin pushed in the back 50 out. Goes long. Off hands and rushed.

8 - 2

Sheerin is a gun. Lavey has been pretty good so far.

Why are we going wide towards the boundary with the breeze? :huh3

Haven’t watched a minute of the AFLW all year so can’t comment

But if she is that slow she shouldn’t get a game should she ?

You play dumb footy and give up territory and you get what you deserved. Seriously, dumb! :banghead

Great point. Our good ball users aren't thinking and McKenzie has been out of the play so far so our ball use inside 50 hasn't been good especially this quarter.

It's not really smart footy this quarter at all.

Half-time

Richmond     1.1     1.3-9
North Melb.   0.2     1.2-8

Goals: Yassir

Just wasted the breeze  :banghead. That was just a dumb quarter. Why did we continually go wide towards the boundary? Why are we trying to link up by hand in the wet? It's clearly instructed so that's on the coach. Just continually gifted Norf the ball and territory  :banghead.

Not sure bringing in Poppy Kelly was a great idea considering the weather conditions either.

Luke has been doing just fine and can take a grab in these conditions. And we have plenty who can take the odd ruck contest around the ground.

Reid plays like doesn't like contact or tackling. There were a couple of times where she was actually first to the ball, but she just gave it up too easily as soon as there's the slightest contact from an opponent. She needs to be harder at the footy and more desperate in the contest if she wants to play at this level.

Get your point but with no Brennan this game, I think the plan is to leave McCelland up forward rather using her to give a chop out on the ruck.
