Fair enough Damo

Appreciate your response

There is no doubt that there are AFLW players who are overweight and unfit. Can't disagree with that, can't dispute it

But I think that there are players who look unfit due to their body shape but are fit. They can't all look like Mon Conti, Katie Brennan, Jaz Garner etc.

Would Prespakis dieting and time in the gym change her body shape? Absolutely. But would she end up looking like some of the gun players in the comp? Maybe but no guarantee

Finally can I add you say "different rules for different genders" and you are right in a way.

Clayton Oliver ran around all season unfit, clearly was carrying extra kgs. I don't recall reading one media article where he was called fat or overweight, he was just labelled unfit.

He was not body shamed on social media the way so many AFLW players have since the comp began and as we've seen this week continue to be.

That's why I get angry and defend the women because the same rules aren't being applied IMHO.

Just my take

Out of the middle from the start and Brennan marks on 50. Goes long and Greiser is pushed in the back 15m out. Shot across the face. Bad miss.

Poor defending. Didn't block the leading space. Lucky the Cats miss.

Geelong looks like they have the breeze.

Sheerin with the ping from 40 just misses to the right. Breeze appears to be pushing it that way.

Dumb by Graham. Gave away a needless free in front of goal and costs us a goal.

It’s certainly a thing Dio
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Really poor so far. Second to the ball plus mistackles. Doesn't look like we've turned up to play.

Quarter time

Richmond   0.2-2
Geelong     1.3-9

I know we were kicking into the breeze but that was crap from us. Too many passengers. Ferguson needs to give them a blast to lift the intensity.

Just no defending today. Left space wide open for Geelong forwards to repeatedly lead into. Schoolkid stuff  :banghead.
