The umpires aren’t the problem. The inability to collect the ball off the ground and hit a target 15 metres are far bigger issues. They try hard tho.
Captain leads turnovers by foot by example
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Over-use of the footy is killing us. Just dumb footy especially in finals.

Egan found Brennan inside 50 but she tried to offload it than just going for the shot. Another missed opportunity.

Deliberate paid against Port. Brennan in the pocket with the shot. Goal!  :gotigers

He’s not being outcoached. His players aren’t any good. I am not suggesting he’s much good as a coach but we don’t have a very good list.

We're not playing North though. Port have just as many ordinary players. We did beat them a month ago.

One team is playing finals style footy and we are not. We overuse the ball by hand and the way we set up especially our defensive positioning at contests and stoppages is a joke.

Compare the pair in the last minute. When Port kick to the hot spot they have numbers front and square. Even if they don't win it they keep it inside 50.

We got out the back for the first time. Conti keeps the ball in front of her and kicks long to Yassir who gathers and goals  :gotigers.

Stupidly handballing when the simple kick out of the middle was the option :facepalm.

Brennan pushed after the ball went over the boundary. Goes to the goalsquare but it goes over the pack and misses.

From throw-in, Yassir gathers and goes for it from the boundary and it just misses.
