Absolutely peeweak that this didn’t happen

Consistent with most things Dusty the last 12 months

Tend to agree. Wouldn't have been hard for Dusty to do this.

Reckon this is media best up again.

Also think it wouldn't have been wise, the kid doesn't need any more comparisons. Cotch is our 3 time premiership captain and was Pick 2. Well worthy of presenting pick 1.

Kid excited about it happening

Obviously didn’t suit Dusty. So he didn’t do it.

Like FJ said, obviously wasn’t enough in it ..

I have only ever cared about what Dusty does on field.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Right? When we people accept that dusty doesn’t do these type of things. All that media beat up about him joining fox footy and it just ended up being a 1min skit where he said 5 words.

Dusty did exactly what all media should have done & should all continue to do - stay out of the F*ing way!  Lead by example, Dusty ...
Meanwhile, Sam looks awesome.  So does Smillie ...     :birthday

Get your point Damo

But .. did the Club come out and say he was doing it?

I know I certainly did boo from the Club... the media went with it, it came from the bloke on the AFL website and then as the others do, they went with it as well

And just on Dusty and Fox Footy, they showed a promo for a comp they are running that has Dusty and Jack in it... it's very funny ...

and can I add.. I hope the club doesn't give the kid number 4. Just let the kid play. If they want to give him a number previously worn by Dusty give him number 38 ;D

I like what we did with Cotch's 9 and Jack's 8 this season - parking them. I know I'm probably in the minority on this but some numbers are special, significant and should be parked until someone shows they deserve the number

38 was Steve Morris’ number from memory.

Here here, jumper presentations are junk.

Why didn't Nick Riewoldt do Tauru. The man has been retired and that is written is about what he's doing and not doing. Who cares.

I wouldn't even give number 36 to him.

I wouldn't touch 4, 8, 9 and 12 for a while.

I like how we have high numbers and they earn lower numbers.
