I think and hope this kid will be a star. Very aggressive at both ball and man love seeing that .
Have to constantly tell myself he’s 19.
I wish the coaches would just tell him to put that monster body at the front of the pack.

Jay Clark on Fox Footy just said the word out of the Club is it's not an ACL.

Hope that's so  :pray.

Yze post-match said Jonty has tweaked his medial. That's 4-6 weeks which still ends his season but thankfully it's not an ACL.

Yze provides Faull update

RFC website
Aug 2, 2025

Richmond coach Adem Yze has provided an update on young forward Jonty Faull, who suffered a knee injury in the Round 21 clash with Gold Coast.

Faull was subbed out of Saturday’s game early in the first quarter.

“It looks like he has tweaked his medial. That’s going to end his season,” Yze said.

"It's nothing too sinister...it looks like he's escaped an ACL.

“He was in good form, and it would have been nice for him to finish off the season.”

Really rate his 1st season, probably pick of the new crop for performance in his role during the year, particularly as he has had no assistance from the highest paid 'leader' of the forward line.

Looking at you Lynch.

Carry on. Every game Lynch plays he gets the best defender and a loose man in front of him. That gives Jonty and any other tall a lesser defender.

His return will be welcome for all our young talls

Can you both be right?  I think we have the beginnings of our new generation of key forwards - the reality is that THEY need an experienced, physical body to protect them from oppo gorillas.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
