No.1 pick Sam Lalor completed today’s entire Richmond main session.
Didn’t require the non-contact cap and was in full tackling + match sim.
Can’t have done more to lock in a debut v Carlton.

Fellow draftees Luke Trainor (pick 21) + Harry Armstrong (23) joined him in the A side

Last time Richmond debuted three [first game] players in a R1 match was way back in 2011 - Brad Helbig, Jake Batchelor and Reece Conca.

I think we will see something like

Short Blight Trainor
Vlastuin Miller Broad

Trezise Hopper Dow

Lalor Armstrong Mansell
Bauer Lynch Campbell

Nank Taranto Ross

I/C Kmac Brown Banks Green

It’s not bad. There’s good youth. My main problem is the midfield… just so meh and unexciting, one paced. No X factor. This will develop with smillie, Lalor and Hotton over the years but for the meantime it’s dull

Officially announced by the club. Maybe some more will be announced prior to the bounce but 3 debutants is enough reason to look forward to Thursday. Good luck to the young fellas  :cheers

"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
