How does everyone feel about our beloved state  and premier now?

What a stuffin joke. Politically motivated when you consider we have Africans heading into people's homes on bail roaming around

I hope they appeal.

Surely he can have that varied to allow him to play football. Also, how silly is it that he can’t travel interstate when he lives interstate. I’ve seen these orders varied to allow people to work and travel interstate before.

Politically motivated when our premier had to open her stupid mouth. You think people who bust into peoples homes is only limited to victoria? I dont.

they shoudl appeal because tht wording makes no sense at all.

if it stands then he misses a further 5/6 games.

His occupation put aside, the sentence is relatively light. What he should do is work with NSW corrections staff at trying to vary the conditions of his order. Trouble is, if word gets out it will create a furore in the media beyond what we have seen already. An appeal will do the same thing and you also risk a harsher sentence.

from the judge

His lawyer asked for an exception to this ruling to allow the Richmond Tigers footballer to play scheduled night matches.

Richmond has two scheduled night matches in that period including Thursday's Anzac eve clash with Melbourne at the MCG.

Magistrate Humphrey told the court the curfew was a punitive element and said Balta would be required to make changes to his employment to fit the sentence.

How about we appeal to have the curfew lifted if Noah can be observed after dark?  So, 80,000 Richmond supporters can vouch for him during night games, after the match he can be wheeled out of the ground trussed up on a trolley - Hannibal Lechter style!
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

So the magistrate is saying that Noah poses a risk to the community being out after 10pm but not before?
Bloody ridiculous decision

Night time curfews  are common for alcohol related offences but to deliberately ignore someone’s working arrangements when considering a curfew is excessive, he could have varied it to 11-00 pm. Lucky there wasn’t community work hours attached to the order, that would wipe out quite a few weekends.

The curfew finishes July 25.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Yep, this 100%.

Sub him off and drive him home. Support staff to do recovery sessions in his house.
