Under a bit of pressure with the Cubs that we've bought in

Needs to get in the 23 and consolidate

When he gets there I want to see 2nd efforts, not standing like a statue and letting the opposition clear easily .

If I'm being honest I think he's going to struggle to getting into the starting 23. Really going to depend alot on Nank's fitness TBBH

I'd like to see him try and mark with two hands.

And you may not think I care for you

Showing some real progression to justify why the club would offer him not a 1, not 2 but 3 year extension.

I want to see him mark the damn footy. Provide an option for a bail out kick down the line. Outmarking opposition players half his size.

Pretty much want to see that he can consistently contribute outside the few seconds he is participating in ruck contests.

He does play some really good VFL footy at times this kid. Needs to find a way to impact games at the top level with consistency... seems to have a game or two here and there where he shows enough only to follow it up with a few weeks of absolute shockers.

Which team is trading for him now let alone in a year if he flops as you say? A 1 year extension would have been the most offered, 2 you could live with, but 3 was crazy.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
