I'd steer clear of Fahey. Rocked around with Tanner Bruhn.

The kid is a reserves player plenty of fish in the sea worth exploring at his level.

Bruhn

Seems a bit harsh

Just a reminder: We cannot post unsubstantiated rumours about players on the forum as it poses a legal risk to OER. Only post what is verifiable public knowledge.

Ridley staying at the bombers. Likely means lions won’t up their offer to Draper to appease bombers in side deal. Compo should be end of first round at the most.

WCE and Dons both struggling.

Wouldn't surprise me if the AFL adds its discretionary criteria and makes them both band 1 TBH.

Tiger71 on BF's podcast:

- If we have picks 2 & 3 then we'll hold onto them and take them to the draft.

- However, if West Coast get pick 2 as compo and we have picks 3 & 4, then we consider splitting pick 4 as other clubs will pay a premium to get in front of Essendon's block of picks.

- We're not actively hunting in the trade period this year, but if there's something falls out that interests us then we'll have a look at it.

- Hawthorn's Sam Butler has been mentioned around the traps in relation to us.

- Splitting pick 4 may enable us to also bring in a Butler or Rosas as part of a trade.

- Next year we will go hunting for a FA. Mentioned Zak Butters as the player we want.

- Tylar Young - issue isn't money. This is his one chance to secure his future and another club may offer him a longer term deal.

Don’t see the logic behind holding picks 2&3 but then splitting if it’s 3&4. It’s position difference - really don’t think that they see that much of a gulf in talent sliding 1 spot to change their whole draft strategy.

Also not so sure bombers will have a block of picks anymore. Ridley staying, Draper compo reported to be more than likely end of round 1 and while I though it impossible as little as a day ago, I can actually see Merrett now staying. New president will want to show he is no push over and now Merrett has an out by saying he’s happy with the new club leadership.

Agreed with the first sentence. Wouldn't split it, especially to get lower pick to trade for Rosa's lol.
Send them a F3 ffs

We must really like the top 3, but if West Coast get an extra pick, they'll take someone we really want.

The question is then does the tigers top3 contain duursma. Sharp. CDT as per the consensus*

 * Perhaps prior to Robey skyrocketing

If we are high on Robey 2 of those 4 looks pretty solid

It wouldn't surprise me if there is a bolter that goes top 5 at the combine. Always seems to be.

Cal Twomey's latest:

Tylar Young - choice has narrowed between staying at Richmond or moving to West Coast (offer of 3-4 years plus links to Mini, Matt Clarke (who drafted Young), Baker, Graham)

Rosas still weighing up between Richmond & Sydney. He will make a decision in the next few days.
