KB was my favourite player as a kid and I would still have him as our best ever. Imagine not only dummying around an opponent and kicking the goal from the boundary but doing it once with the left foot in a Prelim and then again 7 years later with the right foot in a Granny. A big game player across 17 seasons and an absolute legend. If they had Norm Smith medals during KB's whole career, he'd have two or possibility even three like Dusty.

KB's goal in the '80 GF was an unforgettable moment for me!  Gathering the ball, selling the dummy then putting the foot down & burning Magro off was just extreme brilliance from the master, but it was the kick that will live in my memory forever!  I was sitting in the Northern Stand & was fortunately right behind the kick from the moment it left his boot.  It never curved or curled (as the commentators love to say) it was arrow straight from at least 50 out on the boundary line & went absolutely right through the middle!  I erupted into cheers as it left his boot because I knew it was going through long before anybody else did!
If any player has single-handedly destroyed a football club in a perfect coup de grass, then this was that moment!  KB killed Collingwood with one blow, right there, right then!      :clapping
We were 13 goals up at the time but it didn't matter, it was the perfection of the play & kick that left the crowd stunned ...
