Miller kept Hogan scoreless.

Real win, that is.

I’d rather have these types of losses now . They will learn from it . Results are really irrelevant.

You have to be proud of the effort. Can’t blame the coach for missing sitters .

You can see positives signs . There will be serious competition for spots after the bye .

I’d rather be us than most teams outside the 8 .

The fact that they only got 4 free kicks is absurd.

The umpiring was crap as usual

The panel reacts to Richmond's impressive showing against GWS, as Nathan Brown shows how the young Tigers let the game slip in the fourth term.

I know we are all disappointed after yesterday’s loss …but there was a lot to like . Watching the first 3 quarters it kinda felt like a watershed moment , like we had turned a corner.

I’m not saying the Hawthorn rebuild is the optimal model to follow . They have certainly hit a road block recently and don’t look like a top 4 team at the moment.

However it wasn’t that long ago that the Hawks were losing the unloseable. We came back from a 5 goal deficit against them . They coughed up 2 goals in the final minute against Port .
Then it miraculously just clicked for them and they went on a golden run.

I’m really excited for what’s install after the bye . We are going to see tweaks to this team and a glimpse of what our best 22 might look like in 2026 .

It was very noticeable in the last quarter, is there a stat that shows free kicks by quarter??

For memory GWS was on 4 frees at 3qtr time

But forget the count for a minute

In the last qtr Tim T was held the controlling ump called play on, the non controlling ump Eleni was looking straight it and just stood there like a stunned mullet. That's pathetic umpiring

Overall in the last it seemd they out their collective whistles away except for calling for ball ups... it was shocking

And complaining

We were kissed on the dick by a fairy

The entire game I was commenting to a mate “at least they can’t complain about the umpiring this week”

Nup, I was wrong

We had multiple goals GIFTED that were an absolute joke

The Tigers have the midfield muscle to power their rebuild

Richmond was on track to give the clearest indication yet that its rebuild is racing ahead of schedule until coming to a grinding halt against an inspired Greater Western Sydney on Saturday. The Tigers had built as much as a 34-point lead off the back of a stoppage and territory dominance that finished as 42-29 clearances and 61-50 inside 50s, despite the three-point defeat at Engie Stadium. The clash with the Giants was just the third time the Tigers have won each count this season and it was no coincidence that the improvement came with Dion Prestia returning for his first game of the year to partner Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper in an experienced onball brigade. The Tigers might be young at both ends of the field but with the trio of gun midfielders working away at the feet of skipper Toby Nankervis a strong foundation is in place for their rapid rebound.

Yes. 💯
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Absolutely agree we were gifted goals thanks to some ordinary decisions

And I'm not complaining, it's about time we gotten rub of the green

But in the last quarter the umps lost the plot for both sides, whistles disappeared and blatant frees were not paid, that's pathetic umpiring whichever way you look at it.
