That's what happens when you can't tackle.  :banghead
We are the worst tackling team in the league.

30 odd tackles for the game again.

Unbelievable poor

Seriously! Really poor kick Tim. We had 4 players free running at HF and we kick to a 1 vs 3 :facepalm.

Thought it was pretty good kick. Just missed

Well if we wanted to tank that last quarter, we did our best to do it. Some absolute bizarre decision making.

Anyway, enjoy another meaningless late season win Saints that pushes you into middle of the ladder no man's land.

Poor decision making but I continue to ask why are our players allergic to shepherding their team mates. He could have almost run that all the way to 30m from goal if any of the 3 team mates around him decided to shepherd the 1 saints player applying pressure.

It missed because it was poor percentage kick to an outnumbered isolated teammate. We did it all day. Burning overlapping running teammates in space going the lazy long poor option to St Kilda's numbers.

A competitive loss is far from the end of the world especially with the risk of moving up the ladder but we lost the tackle count by 41 despite have 63 less disposals. There’s no real excuse for this other than a lack of intent/effort and you don’t need talented players for that.

Agree but that's another issue TK. We don't just do the basics like shepherding and tackling.

63 less disposals of which all went backwards

Yep, a poor standard match which is why we almost won it. St Kilda were woeful. The only positive from losing that game is that we pretty much seal up two top 3 picks even if we beat Norf next week.

Saints winning games in the seasons junk time .

It would have been nice to get the W , but it doesn’t matter.

We are highly competitive against mediocre teams. Another stepping stone .

I just hope this time next year we are winning these type of games .
