Matt Rowell is the winner  :clapping.

Shout out to the guy that called him a tractor a couple weeks ago.

With 39 votes, Matt Rowell is the 2025 Brownlow Medallist

To rejig my Jeremy Cameron remark he got 20 votes slightly less than half the winner and he came as close to 100 goals as we have seen in a decade.

Youd pick diacos but winning the ball is important too

There is something weird with the Brownlow these days. Many guys are getting 30+ votes which was an absolute rarity in the past. Something is wrong with he system.

What did dipper win it with, 18 votes? I'd need to check.

I miss the days where the winner won with high teens or low 20s votes so we still had 3-5 players in the running in the last couple rounds.

30+ votes should be left for truly dominate seasons i.e. Dusty 2017. Rowell had a great year but almost cracking 40 is crazy and don’t get me started on Cripps last year.

 :lol

And don't forget Curnows Coleman when he kicked 19 goals on WCE lol

Nope I'd take Rowell in a heartbeat.

I think J Daicos is underrated in his brother's shadow also tbh

lol what does this hypothetical question have to do with age. Assuming the point the question was trying to make was that naicos is a better player but the award doesn’t always go to the best player in the comp.

Another collingwood choke.  :lol

We forget a bit about Rowell because he is from the GC.

Either would have been fitting.

TT what a great year but 8th best player in not sure.

If Richmond could magically take a player -  you'd take someone under 24 to fit the rebuild.

Diacos. Rowell. Reid. NWM.

If the question is who's the best player then yes bont is in the conversation.

Speaks volumes about how good Tim Taranto is.

20 votes in an average side is a brilliant effort
