Wallace on SEN (~6.50pm)

* Very pleased preseason is over. Both he and Malthouse were relieved to get away without injuries (unlike the Roos with Thompson)

* Results not concerning. 7 points either way doesn't matter even though it was nice to win. More important getting game time into the boys.

* Browny starting to get back into full confidence. Took 6-7 years initially to reach his peak. People forget it takes time to get back from serious injury. We wouldn't have changed anything with his recovery based on what we were told. It was always going take 6 months of tough times whichever way we went. Same process done with Newy.

* NAB 15 wasn't for the senior guys. More about offering opportunity to the others. Getting the young guys lift their standards over preseason. Plough likes to mix it up over summer so as to avoid sameness.

* Kingsley, Hall a month away. Cogs for the year obviously. Thursty, Knobel vying for selection round 1 depending on how they go these 2 week with training.

* Richo will play. Simmo 50/50 for round 1.

* Thursty a 10 year defender for us no probs. Did well on O'Loughlin 2 weeks ago. We're just taking it easy with him.

* NAB Cup doesn't influence the season as there's a 2 week break. It won't effect the Blues in terms of needing to recover in time for round 1. A good chance for us to watch the Blues play before we play them in round 1.

Simmo 50/50 for round 1.

That pretty much says Simmo won't play :-\.

Plough loves Thursty.

I just hope he can get back to near where he was before he did his knee.  Plough said in the interview it was more like a car crash injury. Thursty deserves a chance to show off his talents. It's been a long time since a young Tiger tall excited us all as he did towelling Jack's cousin up.
