Round 5:

67. Hayden Kiel – Carlton. Versatile midfielder who can also play on the flanks at either end of the ground. Greatest asset is pressure when not in possession, could become the tagger replacement for de-listed Cory McGrath.

68. Essendon – PASS.

69. Aaron Edwards – Kangaroos. Former Eagle booted 100 goals for Frankston in VFL. Joined Kangaroos’ pre-season training and could be a handy pickup. Questions over fitness and discipline, both of which led to his demise at West Coast.

70. Justin Westhoff – Brisbane. Key position prospect with a long, precise kick and strong mark. 19-year-old who played at league level in the SANFL this season.

71. Tom Hurley – Port Adelaide. Suited to a role as inside midfielder with ability to win possession from stoppages. SA U18 captain and U18 AA. Question over disposal efficiency but could prove to be a risk worth taking.

72. Robert Eddy – Hawthorn. U18 AA, ball magnet with great skills. Concerns over pace will see him slide.

73. Daniel Currie - Richmond. Long-term ruck prospect, Tigers have time to wait for his development with Simmonds in career-best form.

74. Will Schofield – St Kilda. Defender with deceptive pace, will need time to bulk up before cracking Saints’ lineup.

75. Brad Dick – Collingwood. Skinny aboriginal from WA, 23 goals from 14 games for East Fremantle colts, including six against South Fremantle on August 5. Named in WAFL colts team of the year. Still very young, would need to grow an extra few cm’s to be a key position player at AFL level, but talent and potential definitely there.

76. Chris Varsamakis – Western Bulldogs. Inside midfielder with quality disposal from both feet. Loves the tough contests and can sneak forward and kick a goal. Questions over fitness and pace, but could compliment speedy Dogs’ midfield well.

77. Matthew Vasilevski – Fremantle.Speedy, damaging ball carrier, solid at national championships, only question is disposal efficiency.

78. Nick Gill – Adelaide. 24 years of age but an attractive option at this point of the draft after starring in the SANFL over the past two seasons. Improved with more experience after unsuccessful stints at Melbourne and the Kangaroos.

79. Colin Garland – Sydney. Versatile key position prospect, suited to centre half forward and/or back. Strong mark, mobile and excellent kick.

80. Michael Griffiths – West Coast. Mature-aged ruckman, impressed at East Fremantle in the WAFL this year, adds depth to Eagles’ thin ruck stocks.

Round 6:

81. Carlton – PASS.

82. Dean Dick – Kangaroos. Impressed at colts and reserves level so much that he played three league games for Perth this year. Great size and skills and outstanding tackling and pressure.

83. Jarryn Geary – Port Adelaide. Half forward/midfielder with terrific goal sense, standout weakness would be agility. Potential to be handy pickup this late in the draft.

84. Richmond – PASS.

Round 7:

86. Jaymie Youle – Port Adelaide. Vic Country product, averaged 20+ possessions a game in TAC Cup. Tough, inside midfielder.

87. St Kilda – PASS.

Round 8:

88. Port Adelaide – PASS.

89. St Kilda – PASS.
