The Fifth Quarter showed Jakey going toe-to-toe with our boxing coach John Vickery (Ty's dad) during the warm-up in the rooms. Funny stuff  ;D

John does that with most of the players.
Ray Hall busted Johns nose in 2005, lol

I have always like Jake even when every one else didn't .. it proves you need heart for this game and he has got plenty of it and is now showing it on the field.

I don't see Kingy as part of our future long term but credit where it's due for his game today. One of his best for the Club.

dimma does see him a vital part. he has been damn good all yr

He's still the good player we thought we had in his first season. His problem in his 2nd and 3rd seasons was being a risk taker wasn't really suitable playing in defence. The occasional almost impossible pass in defence or a brainfade were his problem. Up forward these won't really hurt much usually. It's looks like he has stopped to think instead of taking a risk also. Good onya Kingy  8)

Played a great game. Like him up forward. Presented well and set up a few goals. He has got a very good attitude. Outmuscled Milne on one occasion too

I wouldn't go that far :o and I still think in time Kingy will be squeezed out by younger players with more ability but credit to him where it's due. His past two games have been his best for the Club IMO.

so he's not the small forward we have been looking for ? i rekon he has proved it after this game and the past few dont you think?
