andrew just

both lucky to make it at this level
both lucky they played in eras where the tigers were way sub standard
both would not have got an game at any other club except maybe the current carlton team

glad they are both gone!

Both as tough as old boots.

Dunc was a good tagger but Andrew was a better rounded footballer and his AA selection says as much.

Andrew.

As pure 3rd tall lockdown defenders they were both pretty similar and will each be remembered mainly for their courage especially backing back into packs to take telling marks. Dunc use to keep a number of name players quiet with Buckley his favourite victim. One of the reasons why I never rated Buckley up with Hird or Voss. However Dunc was arguably the worse ever kick of a footy in the modern era. The ball could go anywhere and usually did lol. Chubba wasn't the greatest kick either but he was the better footballer out of the two IMO and would cop unfair comparisons with his brother's kicking record.
