In all fairness we can't be shocked that Port hasn't offered pick 16 for Sarge. However pick 33 in a weak draft that will struggle to find good players past picks 25-30 isn't getting much in return.

In the 3-way deal we swapped Schulz for McMahon. Now that the Dogs have said they don't want Damon White, our trade is now Schulz + pick 18 for McMahon + pick 33. We've lost 15 spots in the draft in one day going from a 3-way deal to a 2-way deal  ???.

thats what miller means by the rfc being "active"

miller is a class opne d head, full of his own sh it, and as i said, he is out to destroy us.

btw, wasnt miller supposed to have taken a backward step through all this.

march may as well start packing his bags along with miller and the tanned salesmann

No, thats in the draft, Francis Jackson should have all the kids worked out.  As Football Manager Greg is doing his job.  However I have no doubt he's sticking his nose into Jackson's business as well.  :banghead

People should wait until everything closes tomorrow on the trade front before asking what we did and why. He may still get a good pick for schulz, he may find a decent deal for a ruckman ... who knows. Im advocating patience until tomorrow.

5AA just reported that the deal on the table is this: Not confirmed or done yet!

Schulz to Port Adelaide
Symes to Adelaide
Adelaide's pick 28 (that they got for Mattner) to Port
Port would then ontrade pick 28 to Richmond

At 28- its unlikely we'll find anything worthwhile... its a late pick in this draft. 28 this year is like 50 last year.

I knew the first reply would come back with the conners thing. Conners fell because of bad test results at the draft camp and whilst he has exhibit great aggression and a bit of mongrel and yes I think he can play he still has a way to go. Im not at all confident that theres a Daniel Conners waiting at 28 this year sadly.
