It's meant to be 38 degrees on Sunday.  :-\
Is the extended bench of 6 extended some more for extreme conditions or do they just wait until a player collapses from heat exhaustion before that is looked at?

not sure where you got that info from, but sundays forcast is 24 degrees, sunny.
just like a warm spring day in september, maybe we can see that again towards the end of this yr!!!

24 sunny! slip slop slap. but no need to worry about it being too hot

PREVIEW: Cats v Tigers
Sportal

Cats - $1.42
Tigers - $2.65

TV & RADIO: Channel 10, SEN, K-Rock.

LAST TIME: Geelong 17.8 (110) def by Richmond 12.18 (90) at Skilled Stadium, Round 9, 2006.

WHO'S NEW: Geelong's top-two picks from the 2006 draft, Joel Selwood and Nathan Djerrkura, have been named in the initial squad as has former Bomber Joel Reynolds, who is now a Cat rookie. Just two new faces for the Tigers with impressive 2006 draft second-rounder Shane Edwards and former Docker Graham Polak in line for their first hitouts in the yellow-and-black.

THE MEDICAL ROOM: Paul Chapman (back), Max Rooke (hamstring), Kane Tenace (ankle) and Tom Hawkins (stress fracture) are all sidelined for the Cats. Troy Simmonds (ankle), Will Thursfield (knee) and Ray Hall (hip) are all unavailable for the Tigers as is Mark Coughlan who is recovering from his second knee reconstruction in as many years.

WE THINK: Richmond should be knocking on the door of the eight this season, but the Cats will be desperate to get their 2007 campaign off to a good start after a disastrous season last year. Geelong's list is in the best shape it's been in for a while injury-wise and, in the comfortable surrounds of Skilled Stadium, should edge past the Tiges.

Well I have just found out that I will have to be driving to Sydney on Sunday afternoon (was going to be Monday Morning). No watching this week or even radio for me  >:(

They boys better win or I won't get to see them (love or on the telly) until the main season.  :(

How am I supposed to pick a Dreamteam without even seeing them play.  :help

Just hope we get some good match reports here on the forum to help.
