Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has been pleased with Riewoldt's year and his ability to play a more team-oriented role as he develops his game.
"I think he's grown in stature as a player, and as a leader also," Hardwick said.
"He's just been absolutely outstanding in the way he's developed his game. We're really pleased with the way he's progressing at the moment."
