(Didnt he kick most of his goals from one on one contests last year, rather than a lead up type role?)

It would be interesting to see the stats on that.

My impression was that last year the mix was more like 70-30 one on one to leads.

This year I feel like it is 95-5.

The other problem we had on Sat was Vickery had a poor game, looked like he had lead in his legs  :P

And he had a large number of mates looking the same WP.

It does the one that stands out for me on the lead was the pass from Nahas in the Dreamtime game most others have been snaps from open play or pack/one on one type marks, oh and the one against BrisVegas in the last quarter when he slipped after playing on only to recover and kick it with Merrett chasing in vain.

Buddy will miss tomorrow and possibly next week with a calf injury. So Jack will still lead the Coleman after our bye.

The Coleman is now a 3-horse race thanks to Josh Kennedy's form...

J.Riewoldt     36
L.Franklin     35
J.Kennedy    33
then a gap to
L.Jurrah       25

Has Kennedy played an extra game compared to Buddy and Jack? I don't count the St Kilda game for Jack and Buddy didn't play on the weekend.

Yes, and also had a 10 goal haul.

Whether it's the calf troubling him or something else it still looks like Jack is carrying some niggle. It just appears at ground level he isn't as agile as he is normally. Mind you it didn't stop him leaping and stretching to take that ripper of a mark in the 3rd quarter.

It doesn't help Jack either when he has 3 opponents hanging off him and his teammates in the midfield still kick it to him  :scream.

The loss of two tall defenders and the subsequent move of Miller to the backline really hurt our structures today. I think thats why we saw the ball kicked to an outnumbered Riewoldt so often today, something that hasn't really happened much this year.

And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Jack's chances of winning another Coleman has just gone up. Buddy reported for an elbow to the head.
