Though how the titans can be out signing players when they are on the verge of being shutdown because they are broke beggars belief - but another topic for another day
The NRL surely can't let them fold with the tv right deal under negotiation.

Short answer is YEP

But not "fold" as such MT but they would certainly take back the license and sell it to someone else. NRL happily allows private membership

There are already a couple of private consortiums circling for when the Titans in their present form go belly up.

Gillon McLachlan has knocked back a huge offer from rugby league to remain with the AFL.

The chief executive of Racing NSW Peter V'landys will now be installed as the favourite to win the position.

Essendon chief executive Ian Robson, who formerly held a similar position with the NRL's New Zealand Warriors, was reportedly also in contention for the job, but has denied the speculation.

Congrats to the Storm on making the NRL Grand Final after smashing Manly :thumbsup. A chance for them to win a premiership without it being taken off them after losing two premierships due to salary cap cheating.

Was a great night watching those silver tails get smashed, with one eye on afl watching fig jams season go down the toilet!
Just need the crows to flush the toilet and rabbitohs to either win or ingliss to maim a few bulldogs and a fine weekend will be just about complete.
NB: tigers to knock off the falcons in the EFL wouldn't be bad either!
Have a great weekend (no smilie face, cost too much)

Dogs are biting ears ::). Mike Tyson playing for Canterbury tonight  :help.

Storm up 14-4 at half-time  :thumbsup. If Cam Smith could've converted his kicks they'd be further ahead.

Most biased commentators I've ever heard. So down and depressing at the final siren

Well done Storm

Well done Storm  :clapping. Deserving NRL premiers.

There's still 'our local Sydney comp.' mentality up there especially in the Sydney media. They are obsessed with all that 'footy wars' crap and how the big bad AFL is "invading" Sydney RL heartland. I guess that stems from the NRL not being a truly national comp. in Australia with just the Storm outside the two RL heartland states of NSW and Qld.
