Odd comment.

Fantasia game and equally impressive umpiring.

The Lions choked due to their MCG hoodoo. The Pies are hardly dynasty team quality (which Penrith is by the way). Negative tactics and brainfades which they've repeatedly demonstrated when playing at the MCG cost the Lions goals and the flag.

I think the pies play a brand of football that wins finals , also they appear to have the right people running the show off field who are making the right calls. And given good recruiting and development they still might become a dynasty team.
I think they also have an ageing list in areas that will require attention very soon and they are also a club that can let success go to their heads
I mean after 2017 how many of us thought we were a dynasty team . In my case it was relief and shock more than anything initially.

Broncos choked big time. They had the Panthers on 5oast with 15 minutes to go

Lions IMO did not.

Credit to the Broncos for the comeback as they dominated the second half, but that was Colliwobbles stuff from the Storm. 22-12 up at the main break and then fail to score. The pressure got to them after half-time causing basic mistakes (for NRL level) and poor decisions. I've never played rugby league in my life yet even I would know to stop the loose ball with my legs and then pick it up; not let the ball go right between my legs and over the touch line to hand possession back to the opposition :facepalm. Add the play when they forgot it was the 5th tackle :huh3. Talk about throwing away a premiership.

Thought it was a pathetic 2nd half by the Storm

The "gimme" try in the 1st 5 minutes of the 2nd half when the bloke ( know his name just don't know how to spell it) didn't ground the ball, score that and I reckon they go on and win.

Pappy's hail Mary pass on the 1st tackle was just stupid.

Sloppy missed tackles defending their goal line gifting tries to Brisbane

Congrats to Brisbane they played for the entire 80 mins, Astor didn't and you reap what you sow

And no matter how good Walsh was there is no excuse for him not to have been sin binned in the 1st half. He scored a try in that 10 minute frame, if he had of been in the bin they don't get the try. A disgraceful (gutless) decision by the ref
