A couple of things about Richmond tonight ....
In their "power analyser" segment Lyon questioned why we didn't lock down on Judd in the last quarter as you should target the opposition's most dangerous player to prevent a comeback. They then showed Judd's goal at the start of the last quarter where Gibbs had the ball on the wing and Judd was nearby with Gus in front of him. The ball is passed to Betts on the lead and Gus and Lids both in front of Judd go to the mark leaving Judd to run through. Lyon was critical of Lids for not eyeing off Judd and not working hard enough in chasing. By the time Lids wakes up to what is happening it's too late and Judd ends up with the footy with acres in front of him and goals. Lyon added it may have been a sign of the Tigers tiring whereas Judd is an animal who senses weakness in the opposition and exploits it. Thomas said it's mental toughness on Judd's behalf (and subsequently we and Lids lack it).
In good call/bad call, the Richmond question this week was "Is Damien Hardwick too honest for his own good?". Thomas said "bad call" as Richmond has had bad cultural issues for years and Dimma's honestly is and will be good for Richmond on that front.
