Apparently there's been distractions at Richmond over the off-season according to Lyon ::)  :stupid :lol.

Lloyd says Richmond's response to the Kingy issue  is working so far.

Caro says Kingy's worst mistake was bringing Toby Mitchell into the rooms.

Hutchy reckons Richmond can say who Kingy associates with in the interest of the integrity of the sport. Lyon replied how to you enforce that across the comp. - how do you follow up every friendship every person has?

Lyon said where's the consistently when Dusty wasn't allowed to fratenise with Dan Connors yet Kingy can associare with Toby Mitchell. Lloyd said Connors has got his act together and is living with his girlfriend and Dusty has moved in with them - it's a totally different situation to two years ago.

Lloyd said he was at Punt Rd on Friday and Richmond is flying so they may be looking into the off-field stuff too much.

Then they got onto Jack. Caro says he's a good footballer but not a leader. Hutchy reckons he's the smartest footballer on field. He hasn't spoken to Jack either.

The whole thing about Kingy was confusing and even they didn't know what they were arguing about in the end.

Hutchy claims the club should be able to dictate who he sees. Then he was quizzed on where does it stop and he had no answer. Caro said he is ignoring team rules. What team rules? He hasn't been banned from seeing Toby. Then when quizzed on what rules she claimed bringing Toby into the room. Last time I checked he hasn't brought him into the rooms AFTER that rule was put in place?

Hilarious viewing.

Hutchy also described Jake as "naïve" for bringing Mitchell into the rooms. Incredibly naïve for someone who's career is "hanging by a thread"

Quote
For the Demons and Tigers, we're still not exactly sure how far they've come, and although the Sheedy appraisal was ridiculous, both teams still have some convincing to do. Which is why tomorrow afternoon becomes such a fascinating and potentially revealing contest.

Which of these two young sides, both of which have been so positively embraced by the football community in recent weeks, will further justify the borderline rave reviews bestowed upon them?

The Demons will go in as the hunted for the first time in a long while. There is no doubt the Tigers were stung by their humiliating 55-point belting at the hands of the Demons in round four. At the time there was massive expectation coming out of Punt Road that this was their best chance of notching up their first win under Hardwick.

.....

I think its fantastic that supporters of both teams can go along tomorrow full of hope and expectation rather than resignation and despair. I would love to be able to argue with my Richmond mates about the relative merits of our respective lists in the coming years, as long as, like the Cats and Saints supporters have been able to do, it is from the stands of the MCG in September as both our clubs slug it out in front of us.

Remember when we sacked Wallace.
Kingy was a spokesman and was present at the intervention.
Lyon took great umbrage with the fact Jake seemed front and central.
