No real surprises for us. Poor Kel can't take a trick. Seems his body can't cope with the rigors of AFL  :(. Howat and Patto needed a run at Coburg to get some confidence back.

With King in, Rainsey should now move further up the ground. Hopefully he can find some form in the midfield as well as add some class there for us. Petts is also a lucky boy after last week. Needs to not forget to bring along his head and heart tomorrow might. Same goes for a few senior "leaders".

Moore's injury should only keep him out 1 week

But at tigerland 1 week could mean anything :rollin

Our ageing spine stands out though like that. Ideally in the future

Gas -> Thursty
Joel -> JON
Richo -> Schulz/Riewoldt
with Hughes and Patto alternatives if they come too. We still need to draft a couple more KPPs just for depth reasons in case of injury.

It also shows we're missing two classy A-grade ballmagnets to replace B-graders Sugar and Tuck in the middle.

Some people are screaming it's the end of the world but we have improved our list since 2004 and provided we now focus on getting more KPPs and genuine classy midfielders rather than flankers I agree X the future is bright. Getting a top 4 pick this year won't do us any harm either.

Sadly DC that's how the stupid draft system works where tanking is rewarded and finishing mid-table a couple of years in a row is footy suicide. If we're going to take a backward step for a year while we get games into the cubs, we might as well make it a big one as the bigger the backward step come draft time, the bigger the forward one in future years. That's how the system works  :banghead.

why is Pattison and Howat out ???

Howat i would agree though ... but he has had 50% of match time ... a bit stiff ...

PATTISON ??? wtf ???

we are going up against Minson and Darcy with only Troy Simmonds who is still un-match fit really ...

why drop pattison for ???

thats a bad move ...

good to see king in the team ... everyone is saying in the BP ... which i would agree ...

edwards in the forward line for sure !

Patto has really struggled so far this year. Needs Coburg and regain his confidence. Polak can help out Simmo in the ruck.
