RICHMOND captain Kane Johnson will play through the pain barrier this weekend against the West Coast Eagles as he nurses a broken bone in his hand. The midfielder is hopeful that it won’t require surgery later in the season.
“I did it against Collingwood two weeks ago. I was just shepherding and I snapped the bone in the outside of my hand,” he said.
“It hurts, but you put a bit of plaster on it and wrap in up and it’s not too bad. Hopefully I’ll get through the next few weeks and it’ll clear up.”
