Future veterans?
« on: May 05, 2007, 05:48:51 AM »
With Gas gone that will free up next year either another veteran spot or give us a chance to draft a 5th rookie.

Anyone eligible to move onto the veterans' list next year? Joel?

Yep, Joel turns 30 during next season and will be playing his 13th year for the tiges so is eligible to join Richo as our 2nd veteran.

Another reason why anyone thinking he'll be traded is dreaming.  :)

the team should always come b4 the individual.
does not matter if you have played 1 yr, 15 yrs, whetehr your richo or your knobel.

the team must always come first

the laugh is that weve been a pooh team for 25 years and some of our supporters think that we have untouchable players from the senior leaders- what rubbish...if we had leaders- real leaders we wouldnt be down the bottom, winless and heading for a winning spoon. And yes I would trade him id include him with pick 17 or 18 and see if we could pick up a much better pick.

Thanks FF  :). With Gas gone and only half of Joel's salary counting towards the cap next year we should have some extra space under the salary cap.
