BTW where's Lids in your list of bests, is he still in your bad books. Played a good all round game IMO.

im not going to bag lids for his first 2-3 quarters, he was miss matched, played in a role that he should not have and i have no idea why mguane wasnt put there as he had extra height

lids laid a couple of tackles good to see but he looks his best , not in defence, not in the middle but up fwd.

when he went fwd he was at nearly every contest and made space and created play
he must play in a role as i said b4 and a floatiing fwd , where he can kill opposition on teh score board , create a target and also run the ground to aid teh midfield.

he can easily play a role like riewoldt x buddy

i was happy with his game today esp up fwd

Good post X, would love to Lids keep playing up forward but with Wallace  you never know where Lids is going to play next

Glad I missed it - some real children make that morons around here.

I would think TW is giving Lids a learning experience and just giving him a taste all over the ground while we are in this current phase.

I would be very surprised if he did not end up in the midfield for the higher % of his playing days. But with the versatilty to move where we need him to save or bust open games in years to come.

Last half positive - shame about the first half, when yor down you really dont need to come up against a red hot port at home with the crowd on there side.(which also influences the umps)
Not really bad today but thing like petts getting ridden into the ground and Whoever it was that got pinged for a half spin in a tackle allways seem to go to the other teams and not us.

Maybe that will change when we become a better side

RFC were bad today l walked out after seeing Tivendale do some very bad turnovers in the 2nd as this aint what we meant to be seeing after TW took over being here 28 months playing the kids or not & once l seen us go up field chip chip kicks took about 10 chips to turnover & 2 kicks to go back for a goal to port l willnot watch this team play again this year enough is enough my stress was overtop my BP was over l could feel it
The promised game plans & coaching of Terry Wallace is no different to when Danny Frawley was here these players are weak as pee, they too afraid to take the game on & tackle like sissys l watch all the games every week and none of the games are even close to the style RFC play its like watching slow country league games

watching Richmond football club is tramatic & unhealthy there is no other way to explain it
l dont care if we get belted by 100 points every week as long as l dont see shocking kicking & turnovers that is like watching Under 12s play
Richmond play a style of football that they put themselves under preasure all the time from playing on when they dont need to
it happens every week they generate there own slaughter

Talking about weak as pee, Tim Fleming sure wasn't.

Sure he had no footy brain or skills but he was one of our toughest players who gave his all and made the opposition no he was out there.

Could sure use someone like him at the moment

I watched the game only the second or third ive seen this season.

Some of the young blokes need to learn early on that you can't be a passenger. Seemed like at every stoppage and contested possession our blokes would simply run forward of the ball. Port had a better structure. A few blokes at the back of the pack and a few running on. Really hurt us.

There wasn't a lot to get excited about though.

Trust me the only team that flooded was the team wearing teal.

Cannot remember the number of times we were trying get the ball out of defensive 50 and all the Port players we forward of their 50m arc. Except for on the odd occassion Lade who when resting does nothing more than stand in the goal square
