We just can't keep the intensity up for long periods whereas Port can. Too undermanned and too many mistakes.

improvement on last week lol  :rollin

Had some winners.

Bowden played like a senior in defence today.
Polak held his own.
Sarge had his moments
Petticoat lifted his work rate
Lids bounced back and played a nice game, was beaten early by White but he is not a full back.
Foley once againt the shining light. B&F coming his way at the end of the year.

Pretty much agreed X, Tivendale proved why he shouldn't have come back into the team. At the critical stage early in the 2nd qtr he f***ked us over with 2 terrible turnovers.

BTW where's Lids in your list of bests, is he still in your bad books. Played a good all round game IMO.

From now on I think that Lids should be banned from the backline. Is not a defender.

His roles should be alternating between forward and midfield. Last qtr was great evidence of this with his ability up forward to take strong marks and kick straight for goal.

So the couple of goals Richo kicked didn't account for anything?  The fact that he has to play multiple positions means nothing?  I only watched the second half but I didn't see your boy Krak doing a hell of a lot.

lids must take richos role in teh fwd line, as a floating mobile fwd, who can run the ground, play a role sim to what richo did when he could play and how nick riewolt plays now

richo must go to coburg or retire and jon must take lids spot as a rebounding hbf'er

julz u r hopeless, read the thread i started b4 u mention krak!!!!(u may read i actually say krak must be dropped forever! )

richos goals meant nothing , absolutely nothing, junk time goals! when he was meant to stand up and be a leader he went back to his bad ways, bad body language , bad sooking and weak footy. he was absolutely useless.

i cant stand sugar, and he made a few skill errors today but he lead from the front and was a leader along with joel, richo went missing again

wow you must have a prety low standard if you think richos 2 junk time goals meant something

pettifer who is known to be lazy busted his bum today , too bad for his kicking for goal , but damn he worked 100 times harder than richo

They fought the game out at least. Just don't have the damaging senior players with class to compete and made far too many unforced errors. Foley, Polak, Bowden, Polo and Sugar would be up there as our best players.

the day richo gets beaten at a marking contest 1 on 1 with players half his size is teh day richo must retire, and that day was today

There's so much waffle that comes from you, it's hard to keep track of.  As for 2 goals meaning nothing, so you'd prefer to lose from a great margin?????  But you didn't mention how Richo has had to play in more than one position.

That is an intriguing prospect X and one that could certainly work for us. IMO our future starting midfielders will be Foley, Polo and Connors. This frees up Lids to play a role up forward and at times through the midfield.

Up forward Lids would be too big and strong for smalls and too quick and agile for the talls. Add to that his marking ability and goal sense and he is an attractive package up forward

some of the match ups throughout the game were a farce. Look im not saying that I know everything but for example letting Deledio get chopped up by White because of height and size when they could have stuck Schulz down back and played with a Richardson Hughes forward line puzzles me.

im not going to bag lids for his first 2-3 quarters, he was miss matched, played in a role that he should not have and i have no idea why mguane wasnt put there as he had extra height

lids laid a couple of tackles good to see but he looks his best , not in defence, not in the middle but up fwd.

when he went fwd he was at nearly every contest and made space and created play
he must play in a role as i said b4 and a floatiing fwd , where he can kill opposition on teh score board , create a target and also run the ground to aid teh midfield.

he can easily play a role like riewoldt x buddy

i was happy with his game today esp up fwd

40pts 52 pts who cares a loss is a loss and richo was useless

where was richo in th egame when he was most needed, maybe in the fwd pocket hiding behind teh point post tissing thinking of you, but he was not on teh ground playing as he should be and contributed as a leader should be

i dont care if richo has his heart on his sleeve and a bugle in his pants,  his days are numbered and the game has passed him! reality!

delidio played fwd for 25% of the time that richo did and was a far better prospect

deledio could play richos role 1000 times better than richo , so if terry says that the older blokes will make way for the younger ones that have equalled them or passed them then if he is fair dinkum, richo should be dropped
