« on: June 21, 2007, 04:33:57 PM »
Richmond Football Club has great pleasure in inviting all Silver, Gold, Platinum and Yellow & Black members to the 2007 Crown Cocktail Party.

This function, that has become a feature on our event calendar, will be held in Crown's Palladium Room on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, starting at 6:30pm, and concluding at 9pm. The event will offer an array of complimentary food and drink for all attendees and provide a chance for you to get up close and personal with your favourite Tiger players.

Dress: Jacket and tie, with ladies accordingly
Age: 18 years and over ONLY
Entry: Your 2007 membership card will be required for entry.

Members can invite one guest at $55 per head.

Also, exclusive to members and guests on the night, there will be a lucky chance draw to win a wonderful travel package. So make sure you have some extra money on the night, to enter.

Given the popularity of the event, it is imperative that you RSVP by July 4, as only the first 2,000 to book will be guaranteed entry. To RSVP, please call 1300 136 605 or email membership@richmondfc.com.au

Note: a formal invite will be sent with the July edition of the Fighting Tiger Bulletin.

Anyone going? What is it all about, what happens, do the players attend or only the ones that draw the short straw?

Got my photo taken with Tiv because I haven't got one, and you just never know when and if you might get another  ;)

I was good, only one drink  :cheers

But plenty of food - not too good there lol

Terry reiterated we will go for the best player rather than picking players based on where we need them.  Forgot what else he said, but remembered that bit.

One drink and you cant remember what he said ::)
Either two things Moi, the drink was either too strong or he spoke garbage a usual, the latter I would tend to beleive. Might have something to do with spending too much tome under ultra-violet lights

Actually wish I went, would of asked him the following

1./ How is Kent Kingsley going and are we going to pick up yet another hack in the 2008 .

2/ And where are Danny Meyer and Jarrod Oakley Nichols hiding.?, he might have answered they are maturing into great  footballers for the RFC.

3/ And how was Darren Gaspar going in regards to the job you offered him about teaching the backman, ::)
Mail is there is a very good story there if someone on this forum wants to find out where  Gaspar is?

Yeah that was the main bit and he also metioned that the number 1 pick maynot necessarily turn out to be the best player. He said look a Judd who went at 3 -v- Hodge and Ball.

I thought to myself as I scoffed down one of the delicious spicy chicken drumsticks (did you try them - beautiful :clapping) - that sir was a very good point ;)

He was again asked about tanking and said we weren't

Well Jack I can answer that both are playing at Coburg.

JON is back this week after serving a 1 week suspension (still sporting a very nice shiner that he recieved in the same game but the culprit got a reprimand ::) another story for another day). Actually his last game was the best he's played for a while.

Danny is also playing at Coburg and I would think his hot and cold form means he will stay there until he gets some consistency like Shane Edwards and Jack Reiwoldt have and who are now being rewarded accordingly
