Who plays on Franklin?

Who do we play on Buddy this week?

No Polo who touched Buddy up in the VFL that time. Franklin kicked a lazy 6 on Razor last year down in Tassie.

It would be good for Thursty's education.

We'll probably play Rainesy on Buddy going by recent match-ups :outtahere

buddy is similar to riewoldt, so I say Thursty should get the job, just like he should have had the job on riewoldt  :banghead

Adelaide played Massie on Franklin. You want someone who can play tall yet be nimble enough to stick tight to Buddy if the ball hits the turf. You also still want that player to be an attacking rebounding option as Franklin isn't accountable.

Sounds funny but to take one from left field King.
Is pacy will match him on the lead is good at ground level and will run off him. With wet weather predicted on Sunday I can't expect a free flowing game at the G so it may be worth a try.  Franklin can tend to put the head down and get disillusioned if things don't go his way early. King is a toughie and may get into his head early and put him off. After all he was fined for wrestling in his first game.

I like it - Jake is a serial pest, Buddy hates serial pests, which in turn makes it easier to get inside his head. Jake likes contested footy contests, Buddy does not (does Buddy actually know what a contested mark is :o :help ;D)

Worth a punt :clapping

Wouldn't be surprised to see Joel B line up on him

when you think about it the 20cm difference really isn't much  ::)

the idea has some merit but really bs IMHO.

if jakey played on buddy they would isolate him up forward and as much as I'd hate to say it Buddy would ahve a field day playing on a midget one out

What the Hawks eventually did against the Pies IIRC. Buddy, after doing nothing for a half, was moved deep near the goals and kicked 3 in a quarter against his much shorter opponent.

Look guys take it for what its worth. I agree also with some of your thoughts that Jake may be isolated one out very deep but assuming it rains as it has the last few weeks game may be very scrappy and tight and hence not much free flow and very stopage oriented hence he may not get those opportunities he got against the pies. Skills may become non existent and it may boil down to who scrapps the better. We ran the crows to 9 points in the wet Hawks were raped and pillaged by 71.

Jake also reminds me of a more skillful Duncan Kellaway and I recall in 1996 Dunks lining up on one Wayne Carey giving away a few inches there also and having a very good game keeping Carey to 1 goal despite us losing. You could do worse by putting Tivendale on him.

that would be direct tanking lol

we may as well get hall in for his 100th! he may have a killer son one day lol, play hall on him and that would be tanking  it right up!
