Our client, the Richmond Football Club is planning and building to its Centenary year in the AFL/VFL in 2008. To manage the 100 year celebrations, the Club seeks the services of a Centenary Events Program Manager on a 12 month contract basis.
Reporting to the Event Operations Manager you will be required to manage the following responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all the events and celebrations of the Centenary year in conjunction with the clubs appointed special events production company
Coordinate critical events such as planned Centenary promotions, Season 2008 launch, Centenary Family Day, and Centenary Blockbuster.
Manage and control all stakeholder expectations related to the Centenary celebrations, ie. sponsors, partners, creative groups and members
You will exhibit the following business skills:
Strong Events management and organisational skills
Exceptional multi tasking and prioritising behaviours
Rich communication and presentation skills
A strong background in relationship management
Strong budget management and revenue identification
Attention to detail
