Trent Cotchin

Cothin has overtaken Lenny Hayes as the most named player -- positively that is -- in The Tackle. Finished the year with a another best-on-ground effort against Port Adelaide, and if the umpires like him as much as everyone else who plays and watches this sport, the Brownlow is clearly gettable. Cotchin has already won the coaches award which is, to me anyway, the most important award. It doesn't have the glamour or the history, but the coaches know.

IN the herald Sun today it was mentioned that Cotch after receiving one of his awards,donated the prize(a new car) to charity..This guy is not only a superstar on the field but one off the field too..I really do think we here should start the ball rolling for the beatification Of the cotch.As it took mary mackillop endless years to attain this we should all start early
