Hey Ramps, why do you think Essendon will beat us at the 'G in Rnd 9 but not Rnd 16?

What a nightmare for membership and sponsorship  :banghead .

Only 2 home games in the first 6 rounds and no Friday night prime time games  ???

11 Sunday games  :P

Travel twice to Perth and Adelaide. I guess we should be grateful there's no back-to-back interstate trips this year.

Pies only travel interstate 4 times and play the bottom 8 sides twice 4 times even though they finished 3rd  ::)

by my calculations we will probably have a change of coach sometime between R9 and r13 and I see us having more chance to win games post r13. Its not a good draw but what can we do. Just do our best and see what happens.

Why do we play Carlton and Essendon twice before even playing the Lions once?  No Gabba game again :banghead.  Why is the Melbourne game at Telstra (I know this question has already been asked).  At least there are no games at Skilled Stadium.

games in bold we cannot win

total maximum wins for us = 7

most likely scenario= 4 wins
If there's one club we can beat it's Collingwood especially in a home game. Same goes for the Bombers. St Kilda who we haven't beaten in 4 years and Carlton will be far tougher for us than the Dons and Pies.

They've changed it this year. No longer does everyone play everybody else once by round 15.

Because the AFL are morons  ;).

At least there are no games at Skilled Stadium.
Yep at least sanity prevails there.

I guess the positive is it's better to have a crap draw now when we are crap and then hope we get better draws in 2-3 years time.

True DC but not even one  ???. It wasn't as though we rated poorly.

I don't care for myself but with the Motorola sponsorship up in the air still it won't help going to a new potential sponsor if we need to and say to them your product will get no Friday night primetime tv exposure at all :-\.

Love the optimism Ramps  :lol.

The first 3 games will be tester. Win 2 of out 3 and the confidence will grow; Lose all 3 and it'll be a long long season with the tank in full swing.

why is it again u people like this march fella. What exactly has he done.

It looks to me like he is too busy with his own personal interests to stand up for us in getting a better deal.

this draw is crap and i guarantee you with a president with a bit of balls we may have got a better deal
